What Are Cookies?
Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded to your personal computer, mobile or other device when you visit a website. Cookies are then sent back to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or to another website that recognises that cookie. Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognise a user's device.
Cookies do lots of different jobs, like letting you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, track information about the visit, and generally improve the user experience.
How We Use Cookies
At present the CROinfo website makes minimal use of cookies. If this changes in future this policy will be updated.
Sign On: When you sign on to the site you are given the option to save your Email Address and/or Password in a cookie. This is completely optional and for convinience only.
Cookie Policy: The fact that you have agreed to our Cookie Policy is stored in a cookie. This prevents the banner displaying on subsequent visit. This is optional, but if you choose not to accept the policy, the banner will persist on all future visits to the site.
Session Variables: Our site uses session cookies to allow websites to link the actions of a user during a browser session. These session cookies expire after a browser session so would not be stored longer term. These are not optional and the site cannot function without them.
